Your dream job
Being a major player
- Ensure the maintenance and mechanical modifications of a fleet of 25 machines
- Improve work methods in the various sectors for the benefit of health and safety, quality and costs
- Manage and coordinate a team of about ten mechanics
- Implement preventive measures and assist his employees in problem solving
- Participate in the deployment of maintenance best practices and manage the projects for the implementation of new machines
- Organize and document processes and support his collaborators in the research and deployment of best work methods
- Ensure compliance with the plant's general rules and those related to health and safety
- Carry out all other duties as assigned
Our dream candidate
- College diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or equivalent degree or combination of experience and relevant training
- 2 to 3 years experience in personnel management
- 4 to 5 years experience in a unionized industrial environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Functional bilingualism (French-English), an asset
- Very good organizational skills
- Good sense of analysis, priorities and urgency
- Dynamism and interest in teamwork
- Problem solving skills
